ABOUT GOPC 2025

Entering its third year, the Grand Opus Performing Competition is expanding to include Piano, Violin, and Cello. GOPC has the Solo preliminary rounds in several countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
 
The 2025 competition promises to be thrilling and high-quality, with participants from all over Asia and the world.
 
The major attraction of GOPC is its grand-scale finals, featuring 2 orchestras and 4 conductors, with over 80 professional musicians performing alongside the contestants on stage. Participants will have a breakthrough with the rare opportunity to play with a high-quality orchestra, coupled with the experience of performing on stage, as well as having their performances filmed by a team of professional technicians.
 
With the supports of leading experts in music, Impressivo Klaviere & Flugel is honored to accompany sponsors, educational partners, and media to bring about an international-level competition.
 
In Vietnam, participants competing in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will have the chance to meet and learn from experienced educators and renowned piano, violin, and cello artists from both domestic and international backgrounds, fulfilling roles as artistic advisors and jury members.
 
International contestants will also have the opportunity to meet judges from all over Asia when registering to compete in their home countries.

STEP 2: AMATEUR PIANO GROUP

including contestants who are not studying music at professional music schools. Contestants in the AMATEUR category are allowed to play contemporary pieces, pop covers, and transcriptions for their instruments, and are not limited to Classical and academic pieces only.

  It is compulsory for the competitors to use the sheet music provided by Grand Opus Competition when registering for the competition. This is to avoid any errors or differences between different versions of the music score.
