Amateur Group

for competitors who do not study music at professional music schools/colleges/ universities/conservatoires

Competitors in the Amateur group can play any compositions for piano, from Classical to Pop Covers,

Amateur competitors are not limited to only Classical piano compositions.

Orchestra Final
Choose one of the Level 1 or higher compositions to play with the orchestra
Choose one of the Level 2 or higher compositions to play with the orchestra
Choose one of the Level 3 compositions to play with the orchestra
Choose one of the Level 3 compositions to play with the orchestra
Choose one of the Level 3 compositions to play with the orchestra
  It is compulsory for the competitors to use the sheet music provided by Grand Opus Competition when registering for the competition. This is to avoid any errors or differences between different versions of the music score. 

Professional Group

for competitors who study music at professional music schools/colleges/ universities/conservatoires,

or competitors with graded exam certificates Grade 6-8 of ABRSM, LCM, AMEB, Trinity…

or competitors with the ability to conquer professional piano compositions as required below:

The competitors of Professional group needs to purchase their own music score. We highly recommend the URTEXT editions by Henle Verlag, or Barenreiter, which are the best and most accurate score to perform with the orchestra
